I could barely walk today, for the lack of strength in my legs. The Grand Stairway of Transylvania Towers was hardly wheelchair friendly, so Christa sympathetically wheeled a small televised monitor into my room for this part of the action.

Arthur and Jonathan rescued the “helpless” Lucys, whom I can only assume had been mock-seduced in my absence—and promised to free her from my evil while Quincy held the look-out, in case the vampire should return this night. All three vowed to destroy me and sought out the famed vampire-killer Van Helsing.

Everyone met in the secret conservatory where they drew up plans to confront me the next night—because they weren’t very smart and didn’t think about staking me during the day.

All this my vampire maidens, the Lucys, dutifully reported to me by “vampire telepathy,” which resembled very much her talking directly into the hidden camera.
