Transylvania Towers
Mariah asked if the rooms had coffin beds suitable for multiple-partner play. Morris was in the zone, however, and completely ignored the comment.
“To this end, we are proudly located in the Yukon territory where the night never ends during our months of operation, September to February.”
“But I haven’t seen another soul beyond those in this room!” Mrs. Williams blurted out.
“Quite true, Mrs. Williams. Reservations were halted when a fire gutted the Towers a few months ago. Lady Karnstein took the disaster—and with my advice—turned it into an opportunity. Instead of using the old channels of advertisement and investment, I’ve turned her onto something much warmer.” Morris flourished his hands out at us. “Y’all, my dear friends, are the future blood of Transylvania Towers.”
We all laughed at Morris’s pun but a draft from the lobby caught me and made me shiver. I felt Leah’s hand slip onto my leg and give it a squeeze.
“I’ve brought y’all here to participate in some Transylvania Towers role-play. If you’re not completely satisfied with the experience and don’t hop aboard our investment team—where y’all will surely find your money’s worth—the vacation is on the house and Lady Karnstein will personally draw up a check for seven thousand dollars.”
There were murmurs around the table after this. One of the sorority sisters mumbled something about her tuition and I could feel Leah’s hand count months of rent and utility bills against my leg.
“Of course, there are some conditions that y’all need to fulfill. Y’all need to participate in three rounds of role-play, three investment seminars and stay in the Towers for at least a week. Y’all also need to sign waivers that permit us to video-tape the role-play and seminar sessions, for potential use which includes, but is not limited to, promotional advertisements and instructional videos.”
